Toshiba launches its new camera, the Toshiba PDR-3330 which is an exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 23/2/02. This model measures 116 x 70 x 46 mm while weights 320 g. The PDR-3330 offers a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It also supports a lower resolution of 1024 x 768. The image ratio (width / height) on the Toshiba PDR-3330 has been set at 4:3, for a total of 3.1 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the PDR-3330 is a CCD measuring only 1/1.8 " having a RGB color filter. Toshiba added a digital zoom on its PDR-3330 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .

The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 80 cm. The min. shutter speed of the PDR-3330 is 15 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version being a very useful function. The Toshiba PDR-3330 includes an internal memory of 8 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card. The LCD screen available on the PDR-3330 is measuring 1.6 ". There is also a video out output available letting you see your pictures on television.
